A coach that sees what is going on, and checks whether it helps
A good Scrum Master does the same thing over and over: notice something, form a hypothesis, try something and check whether it worked. The coach in Cadence does that every sprint, from the team’s own figures.
Cadence noticed
Retro actions are not getting done
2 of the 9 actions from the last six weeks are done.
How it works
Notice and explain
The coach sees, for example, that retro actions stay open or that refinement drops below its usual level, and shows what that is based on.
The team chooses
Two concrete remedies. What the team chooses lands on the agenda of the next event by itself, with guidance.
Check whether it helped
A sprint later the coach measures again. If it did not help, it proposes the other remedy.
What else you get
- A scorecard per sprint: average score, actions done, sprint goal and what helped
- An honest signal when a person is needed, with a contact or an experienced coach
- Backlog health for the Product Owner, counts only
- At most one intervention at a time, so the team is not overwhelmed
- In Cadence Full: the proof in the leadership report, with teams per Scrum Master
Frequently asked questions
Does the coach assess people?
No. The coach looks only at the team’s figures, against its own baseline: never at individuals, and never compared with other teams.
Does the coach use AI?
No. The coach works with fixed, checkable rules, and always shows what a proposal is based on.
